Uncover/ Discover is a performance based on the adventure of someone trying to release their inner clown. The only way to do this is by first discovering who you truly are; by uncovering the layers laid on you by society and then accepting and loving who you are. With every layer of clown that is discovered, a layer of social construct is shed. The clown’s aim is to break free from prejudices and engage in a more spontaneous way of communication in search of the real them. The nose is the last layer of the clown to be added and that is when true freedom is reached.
Uncover/ Discover hija prestazzjoni bbażata fuq l-avventura ta’ xi ħadd li qed jipprova joħroġ il-clown interjuri tiegħu. L-unika mod kif isir dan huwa li dan jiskopri min huwa fil-verità; billi jikxef is-saffi tiegħu mibnija mis-soċjetà u mbagħad jaċċetta u jħobb lilu nnifsu. B’kull saff tal-buffu li jinkixef, jinbena saff ta’ kostruzzjoni soċjali. L-għan tal-buffu huwa li jinħeles mill-preġudizzjoni u jieħu sehem f’komunikazzjoni b’mod iktar spontanju għat-tiftix tal-veru nnifsu. L-imnieħer huwa l-aħħar saff tal-clown li jiżdied u dak huwa meta tintlaħaq il-libertà vera.
